Delicious Pasta Made Easy: Chicken Shawarma Pasta

For the Shawarma:
🍗 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into strips
🧂 Salt to taste
🧄 1 tbsp garlic powder
🌶️ 1 tsp smoked paprika
🌿 1 tsp cumin powder
🌿 1 tsp coriander powder
🌕 1 tsp turmeric powder
🌿 1 tsp dried parsley
🌿 1 tsp oregano
🥣 1 tbsp yogurt
🍅 1 tbsp tomato paste
🍋 2 tbsp lemon juice
🫒 3 tbsp olive oil + more for cooking
Garlic Yogurt Sauce:
🥛 1 cup yogurt
🍶 2 tbsp mayonnaise
🥄 1 tbsp sour cream
🧄 1 tsp garlic powder
🧂 Salt to taste
⚫ 1 tsp black pepper
🌿 1 tsp chopped parsley
To Assemble:
🍝 2 cups boiled pasta
🧅 1 small red onion, diced
🍅 1 tomato, diced
🌿 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
✨ 1 tsp sumac
🧂 Salt to taste
🍋 1 tsp lemon juice
How to Make It:
1. Marinate the chicken in all the shawarma spices, yogurt, tomato paste, lemon juice & oil. Chill for 30 mins or overnight.
2. Cook the chicken in a hot skillet until golden & cooked through (12–14 mins).
3. Make the garlic yogurt sauce by mixing all the ingredients until smooth.
4. Cook your pasta and toss with the creamy sauce.
5. In a bowl, combine onion, tomato, parsley, sumac, salt, and lemon juice.
6. Assemble: top the pasta with cooked chicken, then spoon over the fresh veggie mix and drizzle extra garlic yogurt sauce.
